Sunnyside Swing is our main teaching night, on Thursday evenings during our term times. Terms are normally from October to December, January to March and April to June. There are lessons aimed at different levels followed by a social dance. every Thursday during our term time. No partner is necessary as everyone gets mixed together! Most classes are Lindy Hop with occasional weeks of Charleston and Solo Jazz.
Swing Dance Classes run from 19:30 to 21:30 followed by social dancing until 22:30 then a trip to G&Ds for ice cream. Our classes are driven by technique but focus on teaching in an inclusive and fun way. If you have any questions, then drop us an email oxfordlindyhoppers@gmail.com

All dancers attending our events must provide evidence of a negative Lateral Flow test taken within on the same day as the event, so registration may take a little longer. Please arrive in plenty of time for your classes.

Intermediate classes are suitable for people with some prior experience of Lindy Hop (e.g. a full term of beginner classes with OLH) Booking the Intermediate class also gets you into either Level Tech or the latter part of the beginner class.
Level tech is for people who are ready for concept-based classes, drills and hardcore music theory! Booking Level Tech also gets you into the Intermediates class at no extra cost.
Sunnyside Swing is at the East Oxford Primary School. It is easily reached by Bus from Oxford City Centre on routes 1, 5, 10, 11 and 12.
