Sunnyside Swing is our main teaching night, on Thursday evenings during our term times. Terms are normally from October to December, January to March and April to June. There are 4 lessons aimed at different levels (2 classes taking place in parallel) followed by a social dance. every Thursday during our term time. You can come along on any week we are running – there is no need to wait until a new term and no partner is necessary as everyone gets mixed together! Most classes are Lindy Hop with occasional weeks of Charleston and Solo Jazz.
Swing Dance Classes run from 19:30 to 21:30 followed by social dancing until 22:30 then a trip to G&Ds for ice cream. Our classes are driven by technique but focus on teaching in an inclusive and fun way. If you have any questions, then drop us an email firstname.lastname@example.org

Please arrive in plenty of time for your classes.
This is specifically targeted to absolute beginners and people who have not done any Lindy Hop before.
This is our beginners class for the fundamentals of Lindy Hop. We recommend that you do this class along with Foundation or Level Two.
This is our improvers class and is suitable for those who have done at least two terms of Level One classes and who want to improve technique and skills. To get the best out of this class you should know the main footwork patterns, and core moves like the Swing Out, Lindy Turn and side by side Charleston. We recommend taking this class with Level One to begin with.
This is a ‘Bootcamp’ style class where we focus on different themes over three week blocks. This class is suitable for dancers who have completed at least two terms of Level 2, and we recommend that you combine this class with Level 2 to begin with.
Sunnyside Swing is upstairs at the East Oxford Community Centre. It is easily reached by Bus from Oxford City Centre on routes 1, 5, 10, 11 and 12.
